About this adventure
A massive underground megacity built to house humanity after ecological collapse has begun to fail. Life support systems are degrading, resource distribution networks are breaking down, and the city's central AI has gone silent. Rumors spread of a hidden failsafe protocol that could restore order—or trigger a catastrophic shutdown. There are a few with access to restricted sectors, and they must navigate the chaos to either restore the city or escape before total failure..
Prologue
Two kilometers beneath the ravaged surface, the great city of Veridia was meant to be humanity's salvation. For decades, its towering hydroponic farms and humming generators kept eight million souls alive, insulated from the toxic world above. Lately, though, the lights have begun to flicker. The Central AI, ARIA, has fallen silent. Food riots erupt in the lower sectors. And whispers circulate of a failsafe protocol, a final measure that could either rekindle Veridia's dying heart or extinguish it forever. Those with access to the city's hidden arteries now face a desperate choice: salvage what remains, or abandon Veridia to its fate.
